Employment Outlook

The power industry faces the challenge of replacing an aging workforce. Industry sources estimate that within the next 5 to 10 years, 50 percent of the power industry workforce will be retiring. In addition, the need for competent personnel for electrical installation, testing, and maintenance will be paramount to the power industry’s success in assuring sustainability of the nation’s power grid.
