Environmental issues affect our health and our communities. Environmental concerns directly affect the operations of all types of manufacturing industries. They play a role in transportation, defense, energy, construction, and many other commercial enterprises. Environmental Engineering Technologies also factor into the protection of parks, nature preserves, and recreational venues. Graduates of the Environmental Engineering Technology program enter positions in a wide range of industries, and they find positions in government agencies, laboratories, consulting firms, conservation districts, and other locations. All curriculum courses, except cooperative education courses, meet Ohio Environmental Protection Agency requirements for license renewal (U.S. EPA External Provider).
The Environmental Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012, phone: (410) 347-7700.
