Graduates are prepared to:

  • Take the national credentialing for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT).
  • Apply for state licensure after passing the credentialing exam

Graduate Starting Salary Projections

$37,000–$45,000 annually

Employment Outlook

The placement rate for graduates of the Respiratory Care program is about 90%. Nationally, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that employment of respiratory therapists will grow by about 28% through 2020, which is faster than the average for all professions.
