The Emergency Medical Technician administers life-saving care to the sick and injured. The Paramedic program includes training in basic and advanced life support.
The Paramedic curriculum has been approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services. Students are eligible to take the National Registry cognitive and practical examinations after completing the three Paramedic Theory and Practice courses.
Students who complete the EMS Management major are prepared to assume supervisory and administrative roles within the field of Emergency Medical Services.
