Welcome to Center for Innovative Technologies Co-op Program
Co-op is a mandatory part of the degree requirements for most programs in the Center for Innovative Technologies Division. Co-op is a way for students to gain valuable industry experience and thus an “edge” when pursuing a job upon graduation.
To be eligible to co-op in the Center for Innovative Technologies Division you must:
- Be admitted into a major
- Meet with your Academic Advisor
- Complete CIT 190 or a Career Preparation Course
- Maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 (Some employers may require a higher GPA.)
- Attend co-op orientation
- Meet with your co-op coordinator
Already have a job in your field or have previous work experience?
You may be able to use your current position for co-op or receive advanced standing credit for prior work experience in your program field. Please discuss these options with your Co-op Coordinator.
