Earn College Credit and High School Credit at the Same Time!
Starting in the Fall 2015, Cincinnati State will partner with more than 40 Southwestern Ohio high schools through “College Credit Plus.”
College Credit Plus (CCP) is a statewide program that provides an opportunity for qualified high school students to take college courses for both high school and college credit, at no cost to the student. CCP replaces Ohio’s Post-Secondary Enrollment Options program (PSEO) and all alternative programs including Dual Enrollment. CCP is designed to promote rigorous academic pursuits and provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. It is open to students in grades 7-12.
The program is student-driven and requires direct collaboration between the secondary school districts and college/university partners. For further information, please visit the Ohio Board of Regents’ College Credit Plus website.

Cincinnati State offers College Credit Plus opportunities to qualified high school students through a variety of experiences. Students are able to take courses at any of our four campus locations, online, and in some cases in the high school classroom through partnerships between Cincinnati State and the high school. Courses offered in the high school are the same courses offered on campus, and are taught by high school teachers who have met rigorous college-level instruction standards established by the Ohio Board of Regents.
Cincinnati State regards students, parents, teachers, and school administrators as partners in the College Credit Plus program. We welcome high school students who demonstrate readiness for college-level coursework. Cincinnati State offers more than 130 degree and certificate programs, with a focus on career-ready education.
