Information for High Schools/Districts
Cincinnati State’s dual enrollment/credit options allow high school students to earn both high school and college credit while still enrolled in high school, and streamline their path to certificates and degrees once graduated from high school. While there are common elements in each dual enrollment partnership, Cincinnati State customizes its program offerings to the needs of each school district. The terms of each dual enrollment partnership is outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding.
Cincinnati State’s academic divisions work closely with each partner high school to identify Teacher eligibility and to determine which Courses to offer. Course options will vary by high school partner needs and faculty qualifications.
Establishing a dual enrollment partnership with Cincinnati State involves a series of steps. College representatives are available to visit your schools, meet with administrative leaders, assist in selection of appropriate teachers, arrange professional development linkages with college academic units, prepare custom registration procedures, and meet with student and parent groups to communicate the program options. To begin the process for your school district, please contact our Dual Enrollment representatives listed to the right.
