Information for Teachers

In most cases, Cincinnati State will identify qualified adjunct faculty among teachers already employed by the participating high school.  Once approved by the appropriate academic division at Cincinnati State, such teachers earn a formal appointment to serve as the faculty for the college course offered at the high school.  Thus, many students are guided through the college course by a teacher with whom they are already familiar.

Benefits for Teachers

Those who serve as a high school dual enrollment instructor can realize a number of benefits. They:

  • Teach high quality college-level courses during the day

    faculty development sessions
