Information for Teachers

For high schools who are interesting in offering in-high school College Credit Plus courses, teachers must submit an Instructor Approval Request, complete with a current resume and transcripts. Cincinnati State will identify qualified adjunct faculty based on the Ohio Board of Regents Instruction Standards. Once approved, oriented and trained by the appropriate academic division at Cincinnati State, such teachers earn a formal appointment to serve as the faculty for the college course offered at the high school. Thus, many students are guided through the college course by a teacher with whom they are already familiar.

We Invite you to further explore the benefits of being a College Credit Plus instructor. Learn how to apply for the role of high school dual enrollment instructor.

“These courses allow students to participate in college
level coursework, it gives them a sense of accomplishment
knowing that they are well on their way to a college
degree and a world of career opportunities.”

Rob Robison - Business Teacher & Department Chair, Kings High School Satellite Instructor/Warren County Career Center
