Middletown Campus: Dual Enrollment
Opportunities for High School students
Earn college credit in your high school classroom
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College’s High School Dual Enrollment program allows motivated high school students to take Cincinnati State college-level courses at their high schools while also earning high school credit toward graduation. Every course taken through Cincinnati State’s dual enrollment partnership is the same as the course on campus at the college.
Benefits of Dual Enrollment
Students benefit by taking college courses in a setting that is both familiar and conducive to learning. Successful students gain access to a official college transcript that can be sent, upon request, to the college of their choice or incorporated into one of the many certificate or degree curricula offered by Cincinnati State.
Many of Cincinnati State’s dual enrollment courses are included in Ohio’s Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) and Ohio’s Transfer Module.
Students can therefore pre-determine how these courses may be accepted and applied at other Ohio public colleges and universities.
Earning college credit while in high school offers attractive options for the college years and results in several key academic, economic and time to degree benefits.
