SurgeCards provide access, convenience
All Cincinnati State students, faculty, and staff are required to have a SurgeCard, their College identification card, with them at all times for security purposes. SurgeCards are available in the Student Activities Office.
Your SurgeCard provides access to campus services such as the library and fitness center, as well as free admission to College sports. The SurgeCard can also be used to prepay for parking, and it can be used as a debit card for food at the Overlook Café, vending machines, copiers, and other things equipped with the SurgeCard swipe function.
Please reference the frequently asked questions below to learn more about the Surge Card.
The SurgeCard is the official identification card for all Cincinnati State students and employees. Your SurgeCard provides access to a variety of services in campus, including:
- Computer labs
- Fitness Center
- Swimming Pool
- Game Room
- Racquetball Courts
- And more!
Your SurgeCard is also your parking access card. There are two ways you can use your SurgeCard to pay for parking:
- Purchase a parking permit for $75.00 per semester. This parking privilege is assigned to your SurgeCard for use in College parking lots and garages.
- Apply funds for debit purposes, and access those funds to pay for per-use parking in Lot C and the Central Parkway Garage.
