This course provides the participant with basic introduction to all the laws and regulations that pertain to the environment. The topics the class will focus on are: Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste, Air Emissions, Water Discharges, Community Right-to-Know Programs, and Personal Protection and Safety.

Facility Emergency Response Planning TEN N1020

This course is designed to assist facility maintenance managers, emergency response coordinators, safety specialist, and human resource managers involved in facility emergency response planning. This course covers the basic emergency response plans required by OSHA, USEPA, USDOT and USCG. This course will provide the attendee the basic knowledge on what plans are required for their facility(s) and how to research and develop these plans. In addition this course will review basic environmental laws from RCRA (hazardous waste) to the Clean Air Amendments Act 1990.

Hazardous Waste Management Workshop TEN N1001

This workshop is designed for corporate and facility environmental managers, facility engineers, safety and environmental compliance specialists, and other technical personnel of business and industry that generate hazardous waste and use oil. The workshop focus is on achieving and maintaining compliance with RCRA regulatory requirement and managing this risk of potential environmental liabilities under CERCLA.

This course is designed to provide the student on extensive overview of 29 CFR 1910.119, Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals. The concept of this course is based on the Safety and Health in the chemical processing industries course (#330) taught by the OSHA Training Institute.
