Emergency Medical Technician–Paramedic Certificate
A course on knowledge and skills for providing advanced care and treatment for the injured or ill patient in either the pre-hospital or hospital emergency room setting. This course includes certification in AHA ACLS and PALS and follows the State of Ohio Division of Public Safety curriculum. Successful completion of the sequential courses 211, 212, and 213 by a comprehensive written exam at the conclusion of EMS 213 is required for eligibility to sit for the National Registry written and practical certification exams. This sequence of courses also includes 500 hours of clinical rotations with Rescue squads and various hospital departments.
