At the Workforce Development Center (WDC) you will find the experts and resources to make sure you and your team meet DOT, EPA, OSHA, NFPA and other training requirements and standards. We have experts in fields such as hazardous materials, environmental controls and disaster response.

Our facility resources include a smoke room, a spill drill/decon area, a two-story confined trainer, air monitors and chemical kits.

OSHA 40-Hour HAZMAT (HAZWOPER) Specialist & General Site Worker Workshop

This hands-on course provides the basic knowledge, skills and training for individuals who are members of a facility spill response operations or site environmental cleanup of hazardous substances.

OSHA 24-Hour HAZMAT (HAZWOPER) Technician & Occasional Site Worker Workshop

This hands-on course provides the basic knowledge, skills and training for individuals who are members of a facility or site HAZMAT team or someone who functions as a site environmental hazardous substances cleanup worker.

OSHA 16-Hour HAZMAT & All-Hazards On-Scene Incident Command Workshop

After this course, participants will be more knowledgeable in HAZMAT Operations and the command and control skills necessary for developing a facility Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and responding to and managing a HAZMAT event.

OSHA 8-Hour Annual HAZMAT (HAZWOPER) Refresher Workshop

This hands-on refresher course provides a basic update for individuals who are responsible for facility spill response operations or site environmental cleanup of hazardous substances.

OSHA 8-Hour Confined Space Entry Operations Workshop

This hands-on workshop course is designed to provide knowledge and skills sets necessary to properly identified and control hazards.

OSHA 16-Hour Confined Space Entry Operations & Introduction to Basic Rescue Workshop

This hands-on workshop course is designed to provide the students knowledge and skills sets on confined space and rescue operations.

Basic Emergency Casualty Care Workshop

This hands-on workshop prepares students with basic life-saving techniques to employ in an unexpected trauma situation, including active shooter events, automobile accidents, and natural disasters.
