CCP | Orientation
Orientation Session
Students who have been accepted into the CCP Program must attend an Orientation Session to be eligible to participate and register for classes taught by Cincinnati State instructors. Orientation Sessions are available virtually and offered monthly and sometimes more than once a month during the busy times. RSVP (button below) to reserve your spot.
NOTE: If you plan to participate as a CCP student in courses ONLY offered in your high school, please check with your Guidance Counselor to learn about alternative procedures available at your high school.
Placement Test
If you have not taken a placement test (ACT, SAT or ACCUPLACER), you may be required to do so to be eligible to participate or register for courses. Make arrangements to take the ACCUPLACER test prior to attending a CCP Orientation Session.
- Students must first submit the online CCP Application to be eligible to take the Accuplacer test.
- Students are required to present a photo ID to be eligible to take the placement test.

Advising
CCP students taking classes on our campus or online must meet with an Academic Advisor to plan and register for classes. Our Academic Advisor Team work closely with CCP students to ensure:
- College expectations are understood
- Courses will apply to both high school graduation and College goals
- Monitor student progress
