Accounting instructor earns CMA designation

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Stani Kantcheva, an Accounting instructor in the Business Technologies Division, recently earned her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Board of Regents of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants. Stani has already earned her CPA designation. The CMA is a further indication of Stani’s personal abilities in the field of management accounting.

Accountants who earn the CMA have displayed proficiency in many facets of accounting and financial management. This is demonstrated by completing a rigorous, nationwide comprehensive examination on accounting and related subjects, meeting a two-year management accounting experience requirement, and agreeing to comply with the Standards of Ethical Conduct for Management Accountants.

Cincinnati State is proud of this achievement and the commitment to life-long learning and professional development exhibited by Stani. We’re sure she’ll continue to share her professional knowledge with our students and inspire them to achieve more than they previously imagined. – Nick Nissley, Ed.D., Dean, Business Technologies
