Free Career Exploration help for students is available every Tuesday

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Starting July 18, a free Career Exploration session for current and prospective students will be provided every Tuesday at 11 a.m., in ATLC Room 414 (Clifton Campus).

During the 1-hour session, students can investigate potential college majors and career choices using a self-paced assessment that matches personal interests with career possibilities.

Counseling Services staff will be available to help students analyze the results and develop personal strategies.

The Tuesday Career Exploration sessions are provided in partnership with the weekly College Information Sessions offered by the Admission Office.

There's no cost to attend the Career Exploration session, and reservations are not required.

Additional Career Exploration sessions are being offered as part of College Fast Track events in July and August. Current students are welcome to attend the Fast Track Career Exploration also. These sessions are offered:

  • Thursday, July 27 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 12 - 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, August 22 - 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Students who can't attend an announced session and want help with career exploration should call the Cincinnati State Counseling Office at (513) 569-5779 to set up a personal appointment.
