The Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Jan. 24 to conduct a retreat and a regular public meeting. The retreat is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. in the Conference Center, and conclude by 3:15 p.m. The regular monthly board meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:45 p.m. in the same location. Both meetings are open to the public.

The shuttle service to the Bethlehem Temple Church lot on Hamilton Avenue will end at the close of the Late Fall Term. As of the start of the 2012 Winter Term on Feb. 6, there will be no shuttle service to the Bethlehem Temple Church lot. The major reason for this change is the lack of usage by the student body and staff/faculty. We have been averaging only about 40 vehicles at this lot on any given day.

Cincinnati State has received the annual Merit Award from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) for achieving a 93% graduate pass rate on the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination for 2011.All 14 of Cincinnati State’s 2011 graduates took the test last year, part of the national pool of 9,815 candidates who sat for the exam last year.
