This session -- scheduled from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 5 at the Conference Center at the College -- is being conducted by Dr. Katherine Rowell, Director of the Center of Teaching and Learning at Sinclair Community College. It will focus on research concerning teaching on semesters.

Congratulations to current Cincinnati State men's soccer player - Ryan Donnelly. Ryan just committed to continue his education and to play college soccer at Urbana University (Division II) next fall season. While at Cincinnati State, Ryan was a pivotal player who who helped guide the SURGE soccer program to two OCCAC Championships and a 2010 trip to the National Championship game. In Ryan's 2 seasons at Cincinnati State, the Surge soccer program earned an overall record of 39-8-0.

As you make room in your closets for your presents this year, please think about donating your old clothing to help our students and their families. Early in January we will announce a new “Clothes for Careers” resource center staffed by volunteers who have a desire to help our graduates with dressing for job interviews as well as clothing their children. We are collecting clothes, shoes and personal items for women, men and children with a special emphasis on career clothing.
Cincinnati State Business Technologies Dean Nick Nissley and Associate Dean Michael Chikeleze were among those who attended the recent graduation ceremony for Cincinnati Cooks. They were there to help recognize and a current Cincinnati State dietetics student, Angela Lewis, who is a graduate of Cincinnati Cooks and was receiving the Fred Diamond/Cincinnati Cooks Scholarship affording her a scholarship to Cincinnati State.
