Additive Manufacturing Technician: 3D Printing for Industry
Additive Technology (3D Printing) is transforming the manufacturing world. Large and small machines are finding a home in every step of the manufacturing process–from prototyping and fixtures to complete unit production.
The Additive Manufacturing Training Program offered by Cincinnati State's Workforce Development Center develops the knowledge and skills necessary to implement and operate additive equipment, along with knowledge of lightweight and other advanced materials.

Cincinnati State is part of a new collaboration dedicated to developing the most advanced available training for Additive Manufacturing, and to making this region a leader in Additive Manufacturing.
Partners include LIFT and America Makes, both federally-funded institutes dedicated to Additive Technology; the AeroHub Institute, an advanced manufacturing and aerospace accelerator located in Evendale, Ohio; and corporate partners such as GE Additive.
With technical assistance from GE Additive and its other partners, Cincinnati State’s Workforce Development Center has developed the training program for Additive technicians who will operate and maintain 3D printing machines and also assist with product design.
