Cincinnati State has a variety of dining options, ranging from sit-down dinners to snacks on the go. No matter what you’re looking for, you’re bound to find the nourishment you need to keep you moving through your busy day.
Bakery Hill
Bakery Hill is the Midwest Culinary Institute’s retail bakery, located in the ATLC at Cincinnati State. Bakery Hill offers freshly made baked goods, a full-service coffee shop, and café luncheon choices. You can enjoy your Bakery Hill meal or treat at one of the nearby tables, or take it on the go.
In addition to being a great place to stop during a break on campus, Bakery Hill is also a full-service bakery, and accepts orders for cakes, pies, petit fours, cupcakes, bread, and other pastries. In addition, Bakery Hill offers wedding cakes, grooms cakes, and celebration cakes, customized especially for you. These cakes are created under the expert direction of Moe Thie, former owner of Virginia Bakery, and Certified Decorator, who has over 15 years experience creating beautiful and tasty cakes.

Overlook Café
The Overlook Café, located on the first floor of the ATLC building, offers students, staff, and campus visitors a variety of meal and snack choices. Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials, a fresh salad and fruit bar, freshly made pizzas, sandwiches and wraps, and gourmet coffee are just some of the delectable options available every day at the Overlook Café.
With ample seating at the Overlook Café, it is the perfect place to grab lunch before class, meet with your study group, relax and unwind with friends.

Overlook Mobile Café
The Overlook Café operates a mobile café coffee cart in the front lobby of the main building. This convenient quick-stop offers Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate, water, soda, and juice, as well as bagels and baked goods so you can get your day off to a great start.

The Summit
The Summit Restaurant at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State serves dinner to the public each Thursday through Saturday. Gourmet dishes are prepared fresh and served by well-trained students under the direction of Executive Chef Matthew Winterrowd.

Vending Machines
Vending machines are located throughout Cincinnati State’s campus. There are more than 45 vending machines for your convenience located throughout the Main Building, Health Professions Building and the Advanced Technology & Learning Center. There are also vending machines on West Campus and at the Workforce Development Center. All vending machines accept cash, and many accept SurgeCard payment, so you can swipe, choose, and be on your way.
