The Humanities and Sciences division offers the Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degrees for students who plan to continue in a bachelor's degree program immediately after graduation from Cincinnati State. These degrees support a wide range of majors.
The Humanities and Sciences division also provides Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Early Childhood Education and Interpreter Training, as well as several certificate programs.
Courses from the Humanities and Sciences division fill general education requirements in all of the College's associate's degree programs. These courses help students develop skills in effective communication, critical thinking, mathematical and scientific reasoning, and improved understanding of psychological, social, and economic forces in our lives.
Many of the courses are part of the Ohio Transfer Module, meaning they are accepted and may fulfill degree requirements at other Ohio colleges and universities.
