The Workforce Development Center (WDC) offers many programs on business basics, such as customer service, team building and effective public speaking, plus advanced skills and topics such as budgeting, entrepreneurship. In addition, we offer many industry-recognized programs that help advance you in your leadership and organizational skills.
Offering short-term credentials and certifications, customized training, and assessments, we train face-to-face either on our campus or at your site. We also provide a combination of online and hybrid (face-to-face and online) learning options.
Child Development Associate (CDA)
The certification is delivered in an accelerated format, consisting of two courses, CDA Topics 1 and CDA Topics 2) in a 15-week semester by combining both in-person and online instruction. Note: students must have strong computer skills and ability to work well online to succeed in the hybrid course.
