Welcome to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College; we are excited to have you here! Your education is paramount to your future, but a Cincinnati State education is much more than just the classrooms, assignments, and labs. Cincinnati State offers numerous campus activities and organizations, from Student Government to the Cincinnati State Beekeeping Club, and nearly everything in between.
As you gear up for the start of Fall Semester, add these feature events to your calendar and help launch your year:
September 8 – Welcome Back Event and Resource Fair
11 AM – 1 PM, outside on the front lawn and in the student lounge of the Advanced Technology and Learning Center, known as the ATLC building. This funky, modern, colossal facility is the cornerstone of our campus– look for the large wall of glass windows.
Take stock of all that the Cincinnati State campus has to offer, including our advanced computer labs, our multimedia Library full of student-friendly staffers, plus study lounges, dining options, parking, and numerous recreational areas. Learn about the multitude of clubs and career interest organizations that can provide insight into your career or a respite from the books. Furthermore, this event will introduce you to Cincinnati State’s plethora of on-campus job openings, co-op opportunities, and career resources from our Career Center. Mix, mingle and make friends!

Meet the clubs and organizations that populate Cincinnati State. Talk with current club members, view their agendas, and gauge your opportunities. We pride ourselves on the number of career interest focused organizations that are available. These groups are the perfect opportunity to meet peers, speak with faculty advisors, and network within your specific career concentration. These extracurricular activities make your education more fulfilling and your campus experience more rewarding. These clubs are open to students of all ages, but if you do not see the club for you, start your own– we will be here to support you. Do not hesitate; get involved!
September 24 – 26 – Virtual Run / Walk
Virtual Weekend Event – we invite you to participate individually or with a group.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and family are all encouraged to lace up those sneakers. Run or walk a campus trek, stroll your neighborhood, or perhaps do loops in the basement– just take some pictures and track your time. Send your finish times and pictures of you or your crew to Student Activities and your image could be featured on our website and across campus.
You can make any day of the month a fun event– our campus is centrally located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the city provides a multitude of activities to attend, places to visit, and areas to explore. The eclectic nature of Cincinnati, grounded by German heritage and rooted in conservative values, makes it a unique location for sure. Take advantage of this opportunity and go see a Reds’ game, catch a Bengals’ game (WHO DEY!), visit the Museum Center, or shop Findlay Market. Even if you are a Cincinnati native, act like a tourist and explore a part of the city you have not been to before.
