Overview

Properly using air-monitoring instruments (AMI) during any incident is a critical and perishable skill for any HazMat Responder. This hands-on class will help students become familiar with the components, use and limitations of AMI; review the principles for air sampling, discuss relative response, calibration and inherent safety; and interpret their AMI readings to make better data-based decisions.

Customized and on-site training opportunities are available.
