Your Legacy
For over 50 years, Cincinnati State has been a critical resource for student-focused, high quality, and accessible education. But our impact extends far beyond the College – over 85% of our graduates settle in Greater Cincinnati, working in top businesses and organizations throughout the region.
Your support furthers our mission and programs, empowers students, and helps us create a stronger workforce. Your planned gift is an investment in the future of both our community’s students and our region’s vitality, helping us remain a great place to live and thrive.

We will expand impactful programs that address common challenges keeping many Cincinnati State students – including African American and low-income students – from staying in school and reaching graduation.
Many students need more than support services to attend college – they need a significant financial support to even get started. With more scholarships, the college aims to bring greater educational and economic equity to key demographics within our region.
The speed of business innovation continues to accelerate, and Cincinnati State needs to keep up if our students are to be ready for the workplace.
A planned gift to Cincinnati State is your opportunity to support the College and its mission for years to come.
Many generous donors support Cincinnati State throughout their lifetime – but you can also leave a lasting legacy of making a difference by making a planned gift. By allowing you to designate funds to be given at a later date, planned gifts have the potential to create tax savings and income streams for you and your heirs when integrated into an overall financial plan. Depending on your personal situation and objectives, a variety of options are available with varying benefits.
What is the Cincinnati State Heritage Society?
The Cincinnati State Heritage Society was founded to recognize donors who leave a legacy of opportunity for future generations by committing a planned gift to support the College. When you make a planned gift, and provide the Foundation with your Statement of Intent, enrollment is automatic.
By joining the Heritage Society, you make a public declaration that planned giving is important to the College’s future, and thereby inspire others to also consider making a legacy/planned gift. If you know you will eventually make a planned gift but are unsure of the details or timing, you can still join the Heritage Society and help build momentum for planned giving at Cincinnati State. By signing our planned giving commitment form and checking the “general commitment box”, we will enroll you as full member of the Heritage Society.
Can I direct my planned gift to a specific program at Cincinnati State?
Yes! Whether you wish to support the College’s ongoing excellence in academic and workforce training, or a special interest area (scholarships, student support services, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, teaching excellence, etc.), our goal is to focus on what is most important to you.
