Cincinnati State will host high school academic tournament Saturday, Jan. 9

Approximately 100 students from 15 Greater Cincinnati high schools will compete Saturday, Jan. 9 in the Cincinnati State Academic Tournament.
The tournament is organized along the lines of a television quiz show, with student teams competing during timed intervals to answer questions on topics ranging from English literature to algebra.
Cincinnati State faculty and staff are serving as volunteers to organize the event, pose questions, serve as time-keepers and provide accommodations for families and friends of students during the competition.
The two top teams will qualify to advance to the regionals of the Ohio Academic Competition in April, 2016.
Press coverage is welcome. For information the day of the event, please contact Ryan Shadle at (859) 916-2144 or ryan.shadle@cincinnatistate.edu.
