Cincinnati State Surge Cupboard Food Pantry
The Surge Cupboard Food Pantry — located in Room 137, Main Building, on the Clifton Campus — is operated by a Cincinnati State student organization.
All currently registered Cincinnati State students (taking classes at Clifton, Middletown or Harrison campus) are eligible to use the Food Pantry once a month, to receive 3 days’ worth of food and toiletry items.
Fall/Spring Hours (when classes are in session):
- Tuesdays: 3 to 5 p.m.
- Wednesdays: noon to 2 p.m.
Summer Hours (when classes are in session):
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Once a month, the Food Pantry offers a Farmer's Market, with fruits and vegetables distributed to students at no cost. The produce is provided by the Freestore Foodbank.
The monthly Farmer's Market takes place in the ATLC first-floor lounge area. Produce is distributed from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (while supplies last).
Summer Farmer's Markets are scheduled for:
- June 14
- July 12
- August 9

Surge Cupboard Food Pantry Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission: Address food insecurity within our student community by establishing and operating an on-campus food pantry to provide food, toiletry items, and related consumer programming.
