Career Closet

The Cincinnati State Career Closet is a donation-based program that allows students to build their professional wardrobe at no cost. Students who are preparing for a job interview, attending a job fair, or even giving a class presentation that requires professional attire are welcome to “shop” at the Career Closet.

In partnership with the Cincinnati State Foundation and the College’s Office of Development, the Cincinnati State AAUP (a faculty organization) facilitates operations of the Career Closet. The collaboration ensures reliable hours of operation for students who need the Career Closet, while faculty members participate in service that assists student achievement of career goals.

Make a Donation

The Career Closet relies on donations from generous business owners, faculty members, and other College employees, alumni, and friends of the College. New or gently used professional attire of all sizes, including shoes and belts, is always welcome and helps our students look their best while representing themselves and our College in the workplace.

To make a donation please contact Brian Hooten at (513) 569-1634 or brian.hooten@cincinnatistate.edu.
