The Career Closet provides work-appropriate attire, at no cost, for current Cincinnati State students who are preparing for job interviews and co-op or internship experiences. Referral by a faculty or staff member is required.
In partnership with the Cincinnati State Foundation and the College’s Office of Development, the Cincinnati State AAUP (a faculty organization) facilitates operation of the Career Closet. The collaboration ensures reliable hours of operation for students who need the Career Closet, while faculty members participate in service that assists student achievement of career goals.
Make an Appointment
Students who want to “shop” at the Career Closet should obtain a referral from their co-op coordinator, academic advisor, or academic program chair advisor. Ask your coordinator or advisor to check the referral box in CareerLink. Our faculty volunteers will be happy to help you find the perfect look!
Make a Donation
The Career Closet relies on donations from generous business owners, faculty members and other College employees, alumni, and friends of the College. New or gently used professional attire of all sizes, including shoes and belts, is always welcome and helps our students look their best while representing themselves and our College in the workplace.
For urgent or last-minute access to the Career Closet, contact Business Division Co-op Coordinator Brian Hooten at (513) 569-1634 or firstname.lastname@example.org
