Overview

This short-term certificate gives students the opportunity to earn an industry license in the state of Ohio. The course work meets the educational requirement for 100 hours of classroom instruction, as set by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing, Real Estate Salesperson and Broker.

After successful completion of the Ohio Real Estate Salesperson Certificate, students will have the educational requirements to sit for the State of Ohio Salesperson License exam

Real Estate courses are offered in the evening, online, and/or in hybrid format (partly online and partly evening in-person).

Graduate Employment Outlook

Good. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment of real estate brokers and sales agents will grow by about 3 percent through 2034, about as fast as the average for all occupations. In 2024 the median annual wage for real estate sales agents and brokers was $58,960.
