How does the program work?

The Cincinnati State Metro Discount Program is available to Cincinnati State students to help beat high gas prices and parking hassles associated with commuting to school, work, athletic events, shopping and socializing.

  • The program allows students to use Transit with the EZfare app to pay their Metro fare. Pay just $1 to ride Metro in any zone, with a transfer for just 50 cents.
    • Due to limitations on the app, you must purchase $1 ride tickets in bundles of $2.
    • You can also purchase a $2 half-fare day pass that provides unlimited rides during the service day on all Hamilton County local service routes.

Find out more about the Transit with EZfare app on the Go Metro site.
