Cincinnati State offers financial aid in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) evaluates a student’s need for various types of financial aid.

2026-2027 FAFSA

Our FAFSA Information page provides all the information you’ll need to create your FSA ID and apply for financial aid.

The 2026-2027 FAFSA is now available. This will be the FAFSA you need to fill out if you plan to start Fall 2026. You must fill out the FAFSA every school year in order to receive financial aid.

If a student’s pending financial aid exceeds their tuition and fees, they may use their excess aid for purchases at the College’s Bookstore (ATLC Building) with their SurgeCard.
