CCP | Continuing Students
SO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO BE A CCP STUDENT FOR NEXT YEAR?
How to RENEW your CCP Application
Since you’re already admitted to the CCP program, there’s no need to resubmit the online CCP application! Returning students:
- Talk to your Counselor about your interest in continuing in the CCP program this coming year and ask for their Letter of Intent form. It is critical you follow the high school rules regarding deadlines and procedures or you could be excluded from continued participation.
- Your school district must submit a new CCP Authorization electronic form for your continued participation in the CCP program. The CCP Authorization electronic form link can be found on the “Resources for Parents/Students” and on the “Resources for School Partners” page.
- Send updated high school transcript. An updated high school transcript may qualify you for additional courses!
- If applicable, send updated send updated ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores. Updated placement scores and transcripts may qualify you for additional courses!
NOTE: Continuing Private and Home schooled students will receive a renewal acceptance email per the requirement of the funding application.
The high school transcripts and placement scores (ACT, SAT, Accuplacer, etc.) can be submitted to the Office of Admission:
|USPS||Cincinnati State Technical & Community College|
Office of Admission
3520 Central Parkway
Cincinnati, OH 45223
*NOTE: The CCP Authorization electronic form must also be submitted to be eligible to participate. This is an electronic form your school district must complete and submit on your behalf.
NOTE: Processing times may vary. For PRIORITY ADMISSION, all required admission documents must be submitted to the Office of Admission at least one month prior to the start of the semester in which you wish to register for classes. Students who do not submit the required admission documents at least one month prior to the start of the semester are not guaranteed to be admitted to the CCP program in time to register for classes.
CCP students taking classes on our campus or online must communicate with an Academic Advisor to plan and register for classes. Our Academic Advisors work closely with CCP students to ensure they understand college expectations, are taking college courses applicable to both high school graduation and long-term college goals, and monitor student progress. Details about this process are outlined during CCP Orientation.
NOTE: If you plan to participate as a CCP student in courses ONLY offered in your high school, please check with your Guidance Counselor for alternative procedures available at your high school.
NOTE: Returning CCP students do NOT need to attend an Orientation session each year.
