Returning Students

Do you want to get back to college?

Welcome back! We consider you a “returning student” if you were admitted to or attended Cincinnati State in the past, but have not enrolled in any classes for one year (three consecutive semesters) or more.

Please take a few minutes now to begin the re-application process.

  • If you completed a Cincinnati State Application for Admission in the past, your Application is active for one year.
    • There is no application fee. A $15 nonrefundable admission fee is charged at the time of your first registration after admission to the College.

  • If you didn't complete the admission process during that one-year period, you must reapply and resubmit your transcripts or GED scores.

If you were officially admitted to Cincinnati State in the past, but didn't enroll in any classes for one year (three consecutive semesters) following your admission, your admission is deactivated.

Documents you submitted with a previous application (such as high school transcript or GED, ACT or SAT scores, or transcripts from other colleges you attended) remain on file at Cincinnati State for five years following your admission date.

If you aren't sure of your admission status or aren't sure if you submitted all required documents, please contact the Office of Admission.
